Careers

Work on the island.

Chub Cay is a private island club in the Berry Islands. Running it takes a small team who like the work and each other.

What it’s like

It is a small island a long way from a city, and the work is hands-on. Everyone here covers more ground than the job title suggests, and the people who do well are the ones who don’t mind that — a good day ends with the docks quiet, the kitchen clean, and the last boat settled.

In return you work somewhere most people only see on holiday, with a team small enough that everybody knows your name.

Where the work is

  • Marina and dock

Dockhands, fuel dock, and the crew who bring 160-footers alongside and clear guests through customs.

  • Clubhouse and dining

Kitchen, service, and bar — from breakfast through dinner for members, their guests, and crews off the docks.

  • Rooms and housekeeping

Cabanas, clubhouse suites, and villas kept to the standard members expect when they arrive.

  • Grounds, maintenance and utilities

Carpentry, plant and equipment, landscaping, and the solar and water systems that keep the island running.

  • Front desk and guest services

Reservations, arrivals, transport around the island, and the questions that come with all three.
