After 54 incredible years living and working on Chub Cay, John "Remedy" Rolle is retiring and setting sail for his home in Andros this September.

Join us to celebrate his legacy at the Clubhouse on Friday, August 28th, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM with complimentary drinks and a light buffet. All guests and staff are welcome! (Normal dinner service that evening will begin at 7pm.)

If you know you will be able to make it then please RSVP to help us plan. Also, email info@chubcay.com with any old photos or well wishes, and we’ll proudly pass them on!

Remedy has been a much loved consistent figure of our work force and has served generations of guests since the 70s. We wish him all the best for his well deserved retirement. Thank you Remedy!

Due to popular demand, we have built a brand-new bocce ball court for everyone to enjoy, conveniently located right beside our new gym! The ball sets will be arriving shortly and will be safely stored inside the gym for easy access.

We always strive to enhance our island amenities, so we want to hear from you. If you feel the gym is missing anything or want to suggest other new amenities on Chub Cay, simply email info@chubcay.com!

Lobster season underway!

The first week of open lobster season has been absolutely incredible! With bustling activity across the cay, guests are enjoying unforgettable days on the water. Members Greg Edwards and Mary Francis Kearney shared these fantastic photos—they certainly won't go hungry!

We would love to share your fun-filled photos with the community, so please send them our way. You can email info@chubcay.com or send to our Instagram page.

Always remember to observe the 10-lobster daily limit per vessel and avoid fishing within the South Berry Island Marine Reserve. Happy hunting!

End of season staff party

As we wind down for the slower months of September and October, we want to celebrate our incredible team’s hard work this high season! We will be hosting a staff-only pool party on Saturday, September 12th. To ensure all our staff can join the fun, the pool and Clubhouse bar and restaurant will close from 2:00 PM onwards, and the Nauti Rooster will remain closed that evening.

Thank you for your understanding as we celebrate our wonderful staff!

Major airport improvements

We are thrilled to announce that jet fuel will be available for purchase by the end of this year. With new tanks and a fuel truck on the way, operations should begin by December.

That’s just the start of our exciting airport plans. We are currently in the early stages of planning a renovation of the runway and also extending it to 6,500 feet, plus a brand-new terminal featuring a spacious, comfortable departure lounge and customs/immigration offices. We are always looking to improve Chub Cay for our members!
